The player guide Lodge frog statue

Sledding Game Frog Totem Guide

The frog statue in the lodge is a three-target puzzle with targets spread across the mountain. Activate all three close together, return to the lodge and interact while its three blue indicators are lit. The recorded reward is a Tiny Frog Hat, not a new frog character.

Steam community route recorded in game 0.1.21, visible in the original screenshots. Lost Province recommends three throwers and notes that two players can use respawn flags. This is the author’s recorded route, not a new playtest of the latest console or PC build.

Prepare for a distant target puzzle

Identify the frog statue inside the lodge and its three circular indicators. These correspond to the lodge puzzle’s distant targets; the fox and panda statues use other target sets.

Scout the targets before starting. Assign a thrower to each one and place return anchors for retries. The recorded PC bindings are held 1 to place and held 2 to return to the anchor. Extra help at the lodge can watch the indicators.

Send players to the three target areas

TargetDocumented approach and landmark
SouthTake the southbound lift immediately behind the lodge, starting on the flat rather than in the trees. At its top, look above the upper lift machinery/wheel for the target.
NorthwestTake the left lift from the lodge to the western high peak. Travel west about a third of the way along the ridge, then look over it toward the Yeti area for a line of rocks. The target is behind the westernmost end of that rock formation.
NortheastReach the highest northern peak, then travel east along the top ridge about two thirds of the way. The route guide identifies rocks near the boundary, a large hill behind them and a smaller hill to its right. Climb the smaller hill and check its north-facing side for the target.

On a small screen, scroll the table sideways to see every column.

The northeast target is in the Yeti area. Put a return anchor nearby before approaching; a kick or missed throw can force another attempt. Match the map position to the terrain views below. The red triangle is the author’s position; the other red pins in the third map mark the earlier target areas.

South target: the short lift’s upper wheel.

  1. Wait until all throwers are ready

Have each player confirm their target and a usable throwing position before starting the countdown.

  2. Throw on a shared countdown

Hit the three targets close together. The guide describes only a short activation window; hitting them during widely separated exploration trips does not leave the statue active.

  3. Return immediately

The PC guide uses Esc → Teleport to Lodge after throwing. Head inside to the statue rather than taking a lift back.

Claim while the indicators are blue

All three holes at the statue’s base should show blue light. Interact while they are active to claim the Tiny Frog Hat. If an indicator is missing, return to your anchors and repeat the coordinated throws.

After the reward notification, select the hat at a clothing chest. Use the hats directory for accessories, or characters if you were actually looking for a frog variant.
